BlueCycle presented as a good practice the circular economy program it implements for marine plastic waste, generated mainly from fishing and shipping activity, at the international conference “Plastics: Circular Economy Solutions to combat Marine Litter”. The event was organized by the Association of Plastic Manufacturers of Greece in collaboration with the organization “Waste Free Oceans” and took place online on September 17, 2020. At the event, which aimed to raise public awareness about the problem of marine pollution and present best practices, participated important personalities from the sectors of politics, research and industry.
