The high quality recycled raw material generated from discarded fishing and shipping plastic equipment created by BlueCycle is one step closer to the Greek plastics industry and to achieving the goals of the circular economy.
The network of our partners is expanding with the addition of the “Thrace Group” plastics, as a recipient of the recycled BlueCycle material from which new products will be produced.
On Wednesday 26 February, at the event “Transition to Circular Economy”, organized by the British Embassy in Athens and the Bank of Greece, the innovation officer of the Thrace Group Mr. Stelios Kakoulidis presented the way plastics waste can gain value and how companies can engage in recycling partnerships to produce new products of equal or higher value.
