The 4th GRBossible 2019 Festival of Young Entrepreneurs was held on November 29 and 30, an event organized by Skywalker.gr to support and promote new business initiatives. BlueCycle’s multi-faceted activity was presented by the founder and director of the program, Suzanna Laskaridis, who participated in a panel on “The productive model of the circular economy vs the conventional linear model”. The same panel included Barbara Vassilakis, Innovation Advisor, Enterprise Europe Network-Hellas, National Center for Documentation & Electronic Content (ESF), Beth Bugani CEO and co-founder of Sustainable Food Movement Greece and founder of Foodity. In her speech, Mrs Laskaridis focused on the value of a holistic approach to the issue of marine plastic waste and its importance for implementing a pioneering circular economy program, such as BlueCycle. The discussion that followed was moderated by Christiana Pirasmakis, Vice President of Ecocity.
The festival was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, the Municipality of Athens, the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Alexandria Innovation Zone at the Athens Multi-Cultural Center.
